GM Motorsport / Australia Speed partnered with Above & Beyond Web Design to migrate their ecommerce website from BigCommerce to Shopify. The project is currently in development, with launch planned for the next month. We have managed the migration of products, customers, orders and banners, along with Shopify theme design and customisation.
One of the key challenges with this migration was the store’s complex product options. To ensure these options were handled correctly in Shopify, we set up a custom product option app and carefully mapped the existing BigCommerce product options across to the new Shopify store.

The Result
Once launched, GM Motorsport will have a modern Shopify store that is easier to manage while still supporting the complex product option setup their customers rely on. By carefully mapping the BigCommerce product options into Shopify and completing the core migration work ahead of launch, the new store is being prepared for a smooth transition with minimal disruption.
