A National Retailer’s Long-Term Website Developer
Focus On Furniture has stores across Australia and a major online retail business. For more than six years, Damien has been their main web developer, looking after their BigCommerce website and working with their team as requirements evolve.
The relationship began when Focus On Furniture came to Above & Beyond with an existing BigCommerce site. Damien redesigned it, then continued to build custom templates and pages for the team over the following years.
Their decision to return to Damien for another complete redesign reflects the trust built through that ongoing work. They rely on the same developer for both substantial redevelopment and the custom changes their website needs along the way.
A Complete Redesign and Rebuild
The latest redevelopment involved a complete redesign and rebuild of the existing BigCommerce website. The work included a new homepage, redesigned category pages and new product page layouts, bringing a consistent new design across the shopping experience.
This was a further stage in an established development relationship, with Damien already familiar with the website and the custom work built for their team over the years.
Custom Product Badges, Sales and Promotions
Alongside the new layouts, Damien developed custom code for product badges, sales and promotions. These features formed part of the broader rebuild, tailoring the store to Focus On Furniture’s requirements.
The work combines BigCommerce design with the custom development needed to present products and promotional activity across the store.
Ongoing Development Built on Trust
Focus On Furniture continues to work with Damien as their main web developer. From custom templates and pages to a complete store rebuild, their team has a developer who understands the website and remains involved as the business needs change.
That long-term responsibility is central to the project: a major retailer placing its confidence in Above & Beyond for the ongoing development of its website.
